Anais Nin

The Anais Thong. Delicate. Sensual. Un-tie them and enjoy.

Anais Nin is the key to sensuality.

She is the answer when you no longer feel erotic.

In a world where SEX SELLS and is quite literally everywhere - the erotic gets lost. I know I need words to tap into the erotic and that’s where Anais comes in. Her short stories are beautiful. And her erotica is smutty. She had a long love affair with Henry Miller, another writer, and their letters to one another circulate instagram posts about passion. If it’s not Henry Miller love note level obsession, I don’t want it.

We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward or fix us in the present. We are made of layers, cells, constellations.
— Anais Nin

I encourage you to read some Anais. There is a short story about a mouse in Under a Glass Bell that I adore. Henry and June is sexy and steamy. Her diaries feel naughty to read but so inspiring. Little Birds was adapted to quite a bad Sky Atlantic show with Juno Temple in it. The only redeeming quality was the performance by Yumna Marwan who is so hot playing a Berber sex worker with traditional tattoos and gold teeth.
