Bikini Workshop

Our up-cycled cycling jersey bikinis have been a hot hit for two summers and this year we’re going to teach you to make your own.  Come away with a hand made el bras bikini and the ability to whip up as many as you like for the rest of time... 

There are TWO dates for this workshop please specify which one you want to come to in the drop down menu. 

Saturday 14th June 2025 : 11.00am - 3.30pm 

Saturday 5th July 2025 : 11.00am - 3.30pm

All materials will be provided for you on the day but if you would like to up cycle your own materials / cycling jersey’s/ football t-shirt / old swimming costumes then please feel free to bring them along. A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this workshop. 

If you are a complete beginner I offer an introduction to sewing class - please email about 1-1 tuition and we can book you in before the session. It’s an intimate class of maximum 4 people so please enquire about private bookings - a hen do? A birthday treat - we can organise an event for you. 

In this workshop you will come away with:

• An in-depth knowledge of sewing with stretch fabrics and elastics

• A step by step guide to making your own bikini tops (which you can apply to making bottoms).

• Knowledge of how to measure yourself correctly

• A bikini top pattern that you can continue to make bikinis

• Knowledge of how to use a domestic overlocker

• Guide to DIY underwear and up-cycling to use for further projects

My studio is based in London Liverpool Street. Unfortunately our new studio is not wheelchair accessible. This workshop is open to people of all sizes, gender, sexualities - please email me with your size ahead of the workshop so I can ensure I have a pattern made for you.
