DIY Lingerie Workshop - Bra and Knickers

Come to the El Bras HQ to learn how to craft your own delicates from my Aladin's cave of fabrics and trimmings.

This is a whole day workshop. All materials will be provided for you on the day but if you would like to up cycle your own materials / t-shirts then please feel free to bring them along. A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this workshop. If you are a complete beginner I offer an introduction to sewing class - please email about 1-1 tuition and we can book you in before the session. It’s an intimate class of maximum 4 people so please enquire about private bookings - a hen do? A birthday treat? Or come alone and meet like-minded people.

In this workshop you will come away with:

• An in depth knowledge of sewing with stretch fabrics and elastics

• A step by step guide to making your own knickers and bras

• Knowledge of how to measure yourself correctly

• A pattern of whatever shape knickers and bra you choose

• knowledge of how to use a domestic overlocker

• An insight into the day to day runnings of El Bras

• Guide to DIY underwear and up-cycling to use for further projects

• A set of underwear made by you and a thirst to make more

• Chance to meet other like-minded sewing cuties

My studio is based in Woolwich SE London. This workshop is open to people of all sizes, gender, sexualities and disabilities (the space is wheelchair accessible - please email with any specific accessibility requirements).
