T-Shirt to Pants Workshop

Learn how to up-cycle your favourite band t-shirt (or just any old t-shirt) into a pair of long lasting pants. You can also dig into my boxes of dead stock fabrics and trims - there is no need to only use t-shirts.

You’ll come away with:

• a step by step guide to sewing underwear

• tips and skills for sewing with stretch fabrics

• a sewing pattern adjusted to your size so you can sew all the pants you want at home

• a pair of pants (or two if you’re a speedy sewer!) of hand made knickers

This is a cute afternoon for creatives to meet like-minded people. The building is accessible - please let me know if you have any accessibility needs prior to buying a ticket. Tea and biccies will be provided all day long and there are microwaves and kettles if you’d like to bring your own lunch - otherwise there are shops nearby.

Basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine is necessary. If you cannot sew I offer 1-1 classes of introduction to sewing.
